Destination Murder

Tea:

by James Tissot, who died suddenly on August 8, 1902, at the age of 65.

Perhaps after tea, we can watch a movie. Destination Murder is a 1950 film noir crime film.

The reviews are mixed, but it's just over an hour long so worth it to me to check it out.

  1. Loving the picture that you used, the detail and crispness of the way the dress drapes with the pattern is amazing and what could be better than drinking from that pretty coffee service today 😀. Wishing you a Happy Tuesday! Take care! Hugs, Jo x

  3. Too hot today to wear fur to tea. With Isiaias traipsing up the coast, the woman in the picture better finish her storm prep before she takes a tea break. The window is open. She lives near the ocean so her windows should be boarded up or at least taped. She should be filling the teapot and all other pitchers and buckets with water. And maybe that close to the shore, she should quickly move inland because the storm surge could flood her house. 😱 The movie was unavailable so I had to make up a story about the picture. Happy T Day!

    1. I fixed the video ;) My hubby is home with a doctor appointment, so T Tuesday is getting short shrift from me today :( I forgot to check the video last night, forgot to add the link... *sigh*

  5. I had to enlarge the painting because I couldn't believe it wasn't a photo. It is SO well done, as was what appears to me to be a coffee service. It is gorgeous and perfect for T this Tuesday.

Yes, the film shows perfectly, and I will watch it tonight. I love a good mystery. Hope you'll join us for T because there are lots of us who are slow getting around to visiting people on T day.
