We usually go downtown and watch the sun set over the Mississippi River to celebrate the Summer Solstice, but there were storms predicted so last night we observed the day on our patio.
What a wonderful way to observe and celebrate the summer solice! Your chiminea is beautiful and I loved your video ...I can feel the heat from here ...lol 😉. Wishing you a Happy Summer too! J 😊 x
Because this blog does not consist of a single focus topic I chose the name Divers and Sundry where "Divers" means being of many and various kinds, and "Sundry" means consisting of a haphazard assortment of different kinds.
What fun it must have been to enjoy that fire in your chiminea. I could sit and enjoy that, too. Summer has officially started, that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteIt's hot! I'm happy to have it. Cold weather is what I don't like.

ReplyDeleteThe fire lasted a long time but got a bit smoky. I think that rain was responsible for the smoke, but we did need rain.
DeleteAh that was very relaxing - what a great way to welcome Ms Summer.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to believe summertime is only now officially here. These longer days are a joy :)
DeleteWhat is it about watching and listening and smelling a wood fire? Very calming. You guys have a wonderful summer, too. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I've learned how to do the videos :) The sight/sound of a wood fire is peaceful, I think.
