Lake Barkley Beach


Here''s the view from the beach area:


We didn't come prepared to swim, but we sat at a picnic table for a while and watched people enjoying themselves.

    Its really pretty here and I'm surprised its so empty. Maybe it was a cooler day, but I think it looks like a fun place to go for a dip. especially with kids. Hope its been a great July 4th weekend so far! Hugs-Erika

      I'll bet it's more crowded on the week-ends. It was hot, but the folks at the lodge were in the pool. My guess is the beach is more popular with locals for picnics. The view here was nice :)

    A beautiful lake beach and you seem to have had it all to yourselves. It must have been peaceful to sit looking at the water.

      I try hard to get photos without people in it. The beach wasn't crowded, but there were folks out there most of the time. Swimsuit-wearing moms with kids mostly, so I did my best to take shots while they were picnicking up at the tables. It was a peaceful place.
