Hush (2016)

Hush is a 2016 horror film about a deaf/mute woman who is terrorized in her remote and isolated home. I watched it on Netflix.

trailer:

Rotten Tomatoes has a critics concensure score of 93%. Roger Ebert's site calls it "an old-fashioned home invasion thriller that works on its own modest terms".

    1. It's got a thriller vibe to it. That can be scarier than gore for me.

    1. Creepy is a good description. I find the films like this that have growing tension are scarier than the more overt "horror" jump-scare horror movies.

    1. It's a distraction from the real horror.
