Hush is a 2016 horror film about a deaf/mute woman who is terrorized in her remote and isolated home. I watched it on Netflix.

Rotten Tomatoes has a critics concensure score of 93%. Roger Ebert's site calls it "an old-fashioned home invasion thriller that works on its own modest terms".

...not for me.
ReplyDeleteDifferent strokes...
DeleteSounds scary!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's got a thriller vibe to it. That can be scarier than gore for me.
DeleteI've never heard of this movie...
ReplyDeleteI wish you wonderful last days of October and Happy Halloween!
All the best from Austria,

Thanks! My daily horror journey is almost over lol
DeleteSounds really creepy. Perfect Halloween fare. ;)
ReplyDeleteCreepy is a good description. I find the films like this that have growing tension are scarier than the more overt "horror" jump-scare horror movies.
DeleteAt the moment I have seen enough horror. But I will watch Hocus pocus yet again! Valerie
ReplyDeleteHocus Pocus is one I've never seen.
DeleteThis is another good one.
ReplyDeleteIt surprised me.
DeleteOh, I don't think so! Reality is bad enough for me! You go, girl!
ReplyDeleteIt's a distraction from the real horror.
DeleteGuess I could say I am glad I don't get Netflix!
