Dino's Grill and Muddy's
Dino's Grill is a Memphis restaurant that has been around a long time, but we had never eaten there. I enjoy going places I've never been, and I'm wondering now why I'd waited so long. They have a comfortable environment:
and delicious food. Their menu is at their website. I had the toasted ravioli appetizer:
and eggplant parmesan and spaghetti:
You can see The Younger Son's cheeseburger and fries on the left of the photo above and The Daughter's club sandwich on the right. The Husband sat across from me and had spaghetti and meatballs. This was delicious! I'd love to go back.
We were stuffed, as you might imagine, but a bit later we were ready for dessert. We chose Muddy's for that.
I had coconut cream pie and a double espresso:
It was a gray day but pleasant, so we sat on the patio:
This was a delightful day with family and local Memphis food that just can't be beat.

Yum to toasted ravioli. We have a newly refurbished diner in our little village that I think I should check out. Outdoor patios in our region usually don't open until late April & usually they have those patio heaters on.
ReplyDeleteWow, it looks like you had such a wonderful time with your family! The food looks so delicious and I love your menu choices of the deep fried ravioli and eggplant parmesan and spaghetti - yum 😁. And don't get me started on the coconut cream pie, it looks amazing! Wishing you a very Happy T Tuesday! J 😊
ReplyDeletep.s. sorry I haven't visited of late, I've had flu the past week. I can't complain though as I'm much better than I was,I just need to get ride of my cough 😉. J x
I almost always order eggplant if I find it on the menu. It looks and sounds like you found a great place to add to your list of local eateries. I'm impressed that you went to a second place for dessert.
ReplyDeleteThe meal at Dinos looks delicious but I would die for this coconut cream pie and their furniture on the patio looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteHappy T-Day!

I am having a terrible week. I can’t stop coughing, my internet keeps going offline, and my keyboard works about half the time.
ReplyDeleteI realize I’m not a very good host, but want to thank you for sharing T with us this Tuesday. Happy Vernal Equinox, too. I am going to link you.
Sounds like a fantastic meal out, and the pie sounds even better! Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie

When I used to eat desserts coconut cream pie was one of my faves, and now I use coconut oil in some of my soups and meals just for that hint of coconut taste:) Sounds like a wonderful place to enjoy good food with the family along with something for everyone. Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteDino's was a great find, D. The food looks delicious. Glad you had such a fun and successful family outing.

That food looks so good. I think I might (well it's a tough decision) skip dinner and just go for that coconut cream pie. Yum!!!!! I went out to dinner tonight and had some good food, but there were min sized servings so I left hungry, and now you have made me ready to go scrounge around the kitchen for a snack. :) Hope it was a happy T day. hugs-Erika
