Chocolate Hazelnut Tea?
I think I could love chocolate hazelnut coffee, but tea? No, thank you. This is not at all to my taste.
The cup is new this year, bought at our local bookseller. I like those cheerful flowers and will keep this with my Summertime mugs.

Chocolate and hazel nut tea!!!!! yum, I often stick a heaped tea spoon of Nutella into hot milk...I wonder what it would be like in hot water!? Pop in for T from Elisabeth's!

ooo, now i'm wondering how nutella would taste in coffee, and i'm think that's definitely worth a try :)
DeleteThe plate was given to us my hubby's gran, as a wedding present...yep, just that one plate, with lots of other odd pattern plates and bowls. It has Tams Ware 'Windwood' and some numbers on the underneath, wish we had the set!

i have bought 1 each of lots of cups and saucers, but i hadn't thought of doing that with plates. that might well solve my problem of not liking any one pattern well enough to invest in a set. thanks for sharing the pattern. :)
DeleteChocolate hazelnut coffee is lovely, but I must admit I could not fancy that flavour of tea. My favourite flavour of tea is lemon and ginger, with an added chunk of fresh ginger steeped in it. My favourite mugs are some Royal Worcester Porcelain ones that we bought ages ago from the seconds shop, although I will not buy them now that the porcelain is no longer made in this country. Thank you for your visit today and enjoy a drink in that pretty mug. xx Maggie
ReplyDeletei like lemon in tea but have never tried ginger. thx for the suggestion :)
DeleteI have to apologize but Chocolate hazelnut Tea is simply wrong! Herbal or black tea yes but choc/haz....just NO.But the Mug is delicious :)
ReplyDeletei agree with you!
DeleteThe tea actually sounds pretty good to me. I'm not big on a lot of flavors but it might go well on a chilly morning when you need that extra bit of comfort.
ReplyDeleteHappy T day!

i'm not sure why i think those would be better flavors for coffee. i guess i'm just not used to the idea. but that taste just didn't work for me.
DeleteI agree with Silvia. Chocolate Hazelnut tea sounds disgusting. And it's decaf, too!! It does sound like a good coffee combination, though.
ReplyDeleteThanks as always for joining this fun Tuesday event. I'm sure glad you poked and prodded me (whether you realize it or not) into doing this!!
Nearly forgot. LOVE that mug. It is ALSO made for coffee, not tea (grin).
yes the decaf idea didn't suit me either. i can't imagine how this tea ended up in my house...
Deletei'm glad you discovered mr. linky. y'all work well together ;)
i am indiscriminate in my coffee/tea mug/cup assignments. i just break rules all over the place lol
Oh and I REALLY forgot to say how much I like the tag on that tea bag! I bet the bag, when dried, would be awesome, too. I hope you save it.
ReplyDeletei didn't save it, and i've passed the rest of the box on. i didn't even like the smell of this tea. the tag did have a pretty design, though.
DeleteI like your beautiful new mug with the pretty motif inside as well as the wraparound design outside! I am a tea drinker only, and I could not imagine this being a good combination either. I bet it smelled pretty good though. Happy T Tuesday!
ReplyDeletei love mugs and cups with designs on the inside. it adds a bit of something different, i think :)
DeleteOK... that is just so wrong on so many levels... messing with tea is a no-no... putting chocolate in tea is a no-no, putting hazelnuts in tea is a definite no-no... doing all three? LOL Love the summery mug... but tea should be in a cup... see? another no-no!! Lovely to visit you for T on Tuesday (even if it is now Wednesday in the land of Oz)!! Annette
ReplyDeletelol yes, i broke every rule. i just put my tea and coffee in anything. well, almost anything... i do have to like a beverage container to use it, but other than that i'm a non-traditionalist on the subject.
DeleteLove the cup! Not so sure about that tea though and choco hazelnut coffee...eh. :) hugs
ReplyDeleteit took me several trips to the bookstore resisting the urge to buy that cup, but i finally embraced the urge.
DeleteYour summertime mug is beautiful with the hint of flowers inside too I see.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I enjoy Chocolate AND Hazelnuts ... not sure I'd want them both in the same drink.
oxo
maybe a plain tea could be drunk while eating chocolate-covered hazelnuts, but i think i'd still think the flavors went better with coffee.
DeleteI love Chocolate and Hazelnut....but not as a tea...No Thank You.
ReplyDeleteLove the mug. Happy Tuesday !
i think the mug is a cheerful one. :)
DeleteOh yeah um choc hazelnut T sounds just wrong LOL - thanks for popping by yesterday - my blogger issues rectified themselves - as all techy things usually do with no idea why what or how LOL - have a great week - see you next T for Tuesday... Mxx
ReplyDeletei am enjoying meeting new folks during t tuesday, and i'm looking forward to the next one :)
DeleteI'm not sure I'd like that tea either. Coffee, mocha or hot chocolate the flavor would likely blend quite nicely. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteyes, that's what i think. the flavors just didn't blend well for me.
DeleteI really don't like tea or coffee that comes with flavors. They usually have an artificial aftertaste to me. I do like your new mug though.
ReplyDeleteDarla
i like some flavored coffees every once in a while but not as a regular habit. glad you like the mug. it made a hit with me :)
