DeleteI actually got a chance to see the original King Kong on tv a few months back. To me, it was not scary, but very sad. I felt for Kong.
ReplyDeleteYes, schools are really damaging. They harbor bullies, albeit they take a back seat to some internet bullies, and they harbor children wanting to kill other children.
King Kong is a sad story. If they'd left him on his island he'd have lived, but I felt sorry for the generations of natives sacrificed to him. There aren't any good guys in that movie.

ReplyDeleteI have developed a taste for Asian horror films. There's often less in the way of "horror" as I think of it and more in the way of tragic personal story.
