The Tomb (1986)

The Tomb is a low-budget film about the curse of a desecrated tomb, starring John Carradine and long-time favorite Cameron Mitchell. It's loosely based on a Bram Stoker novel. I think there's quite a bit of charm here, but that might just be me liking anything Cameron Mitchell appears in.

Reviewers are not kind.

  1. I can guess why the reviewers weren't kind. I guess I'm not as fond of Mitchell as you are. But I'm glad you exposed me to this film, anyway.

    1. I first saw Mitchell in the tv western series High Chaparral. I loved that show, and he was my favorite in it. Now, I always notice if he's in something I come across.

  2. Sounds an interesting film but I can't do any form of horror as I have a very vivid imagination ... lol! Wishing you a Happy Friday and Weekend! J 😊

    1. I remember being on the edge of my seat as a teen reading Dracula. I couldn't walk through the dark house afterwards without turning all the lights on, and the Alien movie made me a basket case. I definitely sympathize with the imagination problem. I guess I've just gotten a bit de-sensitized over time with exposure.
