Santa Claus is a 1959 Mexican film. From his home in outer space Santa Claus battles Lucifer's demons to make sure Christmas hope and joy prevail. A fun enough movie and very sweet, as long as you're not expecting anything like great cinema.

DVD Verdict calls it "jaw-droppingly weird" and says, "Santa Claus isn't just a bad movie, it's a deeply bizarre one. With its images of the underworld—which includes "devils" in red body suits and pantaloons doing Jerome Robbins-style dance numbers—and creepy vision of Santa's home/office set up, it almost works as a Christmas horror fable."
