42 Mural


There are several 42s in this mural, which is located on a wall bordering a parking lot in the Cooper Young neighborhood in midtown.

      yes, it's huge! I like the smaller pieces, too, but the big walls are easier to find lol

    I wonder if it´s the same artist doing all those 42s, or if it´s several. Perhaps they inspire each other? I keep looking for a 42, but all I see repeated at home is "vemod" (melancholy) and in England I saw a lot of "fuck racism" (which I can agree with, but it´s not very poetic).

      There's a street artist who goes by the name of "nosey" http://nosy42.com/ who does a lot of the 42s. They are fun for me, but the "message" art you've seen has more meaning. I don't see much protest or social commentary work done here..
