    Mr. Bingle had a different theme song in Memphis. He also had a human co-star, "Miss Holly" (who was a different actress each year). Miss Holly would read a part of the Mr. Bingle story -- that would explain his hat, wings, mittens, cane and bells. Then, they would talk about some of the wonderful toys available at Lowenstein's Department Store toy department.

    He was great.
