  2. What a charming painting. It is one that could be trimmed in half & still be lovely to look at; wondering, pondering, what is "she" gazing at? Children playing; animals frolicking; nothing but the passage of time.

  3. Pretty view from the window and doors. I wonder if the Artist's Wife is thinking: He wants me to pose and sit still for him while he paints me like a lady of leisure. Doesn't he know I have so much to do? It's laundry day. The children will be home from school soon. I have dinner to make... Happy T Day

  4. I've never heard of Holsoe, but I love his style. At first i thought it was a photograph it was so realistic. This is a beautiful painting and a great choice for T this Tuesday, too dear.
