Echinacea Tea
I usually think of echinacea tea as being a winter-time thing, but I had a taste for something different. This is it! I hear this tea is supposed to be all kinds of good for you. I don't know about that. I just like the taste. This tea is Traditional Medicinals brand Organic Echinacea Plus.
The cup is rose-colored fiesta ware. I don't think they make this color any more.
There are lots of links at Bleubeard and Elizabeth's T is for Tuesday post, and those folks are creative and talented!

Like you, I think of echinacea as a winter drink, especially for colds and sore throats. Love you cup and saucer - any color Fiesta Ware is find with me.

i have a couple of fiesta ware cups and saucers and love them. i like the weight, the shape, the colors... i may look into trying a plate and see how i might like them as dinnerware.
DeleteLovely cup and saucer ,,, I think our immune systems can always stand a boost.
ReplyDeleteTraditional Medicinals does make yummy and healing teas for certain.
Happy T day to you

i had echinacea tea recommended to me years ago for use in times of respiratory illness, but i don't know if it really helps that. there are times when this particular taste is what i want. i find it comforting.
Deletehappy t time :)
OMGosh. I have echinacea growing in my garden, but never thought that it could be turned into tea. I'm glad you found something you like and that is good for you.
ReplyDeleteHalle has some fiesta ware, so she might know about the color. I know many of the pieces she owns have colors that have been discontinued. Love that color, so I can see why you would be drawn to it.
Thanks for joining T today. I can't imagine you having trouble leaving a comment on Patty's blog.
2 different wordpress blogs i had trouble with :(
DeleteFiesta ware!!! I collect it and use it daily. I have the mugs instead of the cups and saucers though. Happy Tuesday! ps...thanks for stopping by my blog. :)
ReplyDeletei'm definitely going to branch out from my 2 cups & saucers. plates are next! :)
DeleteI have never seen the tea, but used to give the tablets to my son in winter time to ward off illness! Lovely colour for your cup and saucer, looks great with the tea packaging!
ReplyDeletei've never seen the tablets. they'd be quicker if you were sick. i do like this pink cup. thx :)
DeleteHello, it's nice to visit you. I've never heard of this tea but then I don't know too much about teas except for my Liption kind. How pretty your cup and saucer is, I'm sure before long I will feel the need to buy some and use them for my Tuesday posts, can't wait.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit and if you'd like to see my Project Life, I might be combining it with my T time since Tuesday's is when I try to post my pages. Feel free to look around my blog for my PL posts too, it really is a great way to document your life with just pictures and a few words. Much easier and faster then scrapbooking.
Take care and Happy Tuesday to you!
i started off with lipton tea bags, branched out into other kinds of bags in the grocery store, and ended up ordering loose tea from upton imports. it's a habit that grows on you lol.
Deletei look forward to learning more about project life. scrapbooking is my daughter's thing, but i'm not that organized ;)
Fiesta ware, who doesn't love that stuff!
ReplyDeleteI hear you had trouble with my blog today? sorry to hear that, in a nutshell I shared coffee in a Nightmare Before Christmas mug and lots of crafty photos of what I've been up to for the past week or so. No big deal, we'll just say "cheers" here ;-)
Happy T day
Peace~
Dawn
yes, i could see that nightmare before christmas post and wanted to say that movie is a favorite around here. priceless. we sing along lol. i tried going to your home page and then clicking on the t post from there, but... no luck. i'll keep trying. i imagine it'll work itself out. thx for coming over here :)
DeleteI have Rose Fiesta ! I collected Fiesta for several years. I am not a fan of the new bright colors they have now. As for the tea.. that one is in my cabinet and I do think the Traditional Medicinal brand is one of the best out there.
ReplyDeleteyes, the pink they have now is so bright! i gave the tea to my daughter when she got a cough. now i need to pick up some more.
DeleteThanks for stopping by my blog for a cuppa on T Tuesday! Your tea looks pretty in its Fiestaware cup. I, too, am a fan of Fiestaware; so far I have pieces in red, blue, yellow, and orange.
ReplyDeletei want to go to a store and see what colors are available now. i don't even know what the options currently are.
DeleteI drink Echinacea tea year round too to keep the immune system boosted. Love the Fiestaware. I own a lot of the "antique" stuff inherited from my DMIL on her passing. I love using it on holidays. Hope you have a great week! Vickie
ReplyDeletei have some vintage pieces but not many. they are fun to use. hope your week is great, too! :)
Deletesounds like a lovely tea...I've never tried it. Beautiful cup & saucer! I do hope it's the new Fiesta ware. The antique fiesta ware had lead in the glaze---not something you want to drink from every day...happy T Tuesday!
ReplyDeletehmmm, i didn't realize all the old colors had lead in the glaze, tho i had heard the red did. i guess now i _really_ need to go check out the current colors. thx for the heads up! :)
DeleteJust a flying visit for T for Tuesday - late but happy to see everyone this week... Cheers Mxx #23
ReplyDeleteglad you made it :) thx for coming by
