A stunning tree. My favorite. Your pictures are great. You are right: the fragrance transports you to another realm. I clip them to bring inside and place in a bowl of water but they last only a day so better to enjoy the smell outside.
oh, yes! i used to cut them one at a time and take them to mother. she would float them in a bowl and they would scent her whole house. they are one of my favorites, too.
Because this blog does not consist of a single focus topic I chose the name Divers and Sundry where "Divers" means being of many and various kinds, and "Sundry" means consisting of a haphazard assortment of different kinds.
Those are awsome! I´m pretty sure I have never seen one in real life.

it is! and they are perfect climbing trees! they don't like for folks to climb these, tho i'm not sure why.
