Hector and the Search for Happiness is a 2014 comedy drama film starring Simon Pegg, Toni Collette, Rosamund Pike, Stellan Skarsgård, Jean Reno, Veronica Ferres, and Christopher Plummer. I think this is delightful, but most professional reviewers didn't agree. Well, what do they know, right? You can watch it free on Tubi. It's also on Amazon Prime.

ReplyDeleteOMGosh it looks wonderful! I think i would enjoy it. Probably with a box of tissues.. Love Simon Pegg. Reviewers..um ...yeah Hubs and i have learned to ignore them... We totally enjoyed the movie Moribius... but reviewers have given it such a bad rap we almost didn't go see it.. Is it Oscar worthy.?? no but not all movies have to be Oscar worthy to be enjoyable! ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of the film, but I think if I like a film, I don't care what others say. I can usually tell about 15 minutes into a film if I like it or not. Life is too short to waste time on bad films.
