Hector and the Search for Happiness

Hector and the Search for Happiness is a 2014 comedy drama film starring Simon Pegg, Toni Collette, Rosamund Pike, Stellan Skarsgård, Jean Reno, Veronica Ferres, and Christopher Plummer. I think this is delightful, but most professional reviewers didn't agree. Well, what do they know, right? You can watch it free on Tubi. It's also on Amazon Prime.

  2. I've seen this, and even read the novelette that goes with it. What do the reviewers know? Have a great T day Nita.

  3. Sometimes critics really hate a perfectly good movie or book. I haven't seen that one, though.

  9. I don't know the movie, but I recognize the names of some of the actors you mentioned. I usually don't care what critics say about a movie. I know what I like and what I don't like.

  13. I definitely want to watch this film - good actors in it so it surely can't be bad! Yum, boiled egg and soldiers ..breakfast tomorrow!
I had the same problem as you with making a comment on Elizabeth's blog and then found I couldn't access my own comment box either! Will see how I get on tomorrow- bedtime now as it also took me an age writing my blog - had to log off and try again later! Blogger? Grrrrr!!! Happy T Day, Chrisx

  15. I haven't heard of the film, but I think if I like a film, I don't care what others say. I can usually tell about 15 minutes into a film if I like it or not. Life is too short to waste time on bad films.

Sorry you are having trouble reaching some of the T Tuesday group. I've had no problems with any that you described. I sometimes can't leave comments and sometimes get "Whoops," but that is it.

Thanks for sharing this breakfast and coffee with us for T this Tuesday, dear Nita.

  18. I thought this seemed familiar. Looked it up on Netflix and I saw it in 2015 and gave it four stars--LOL! ;)
