The Daughter and I think Memphis must be a hotbed of people who understand the value of knowing and sharing The Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything, because we see 42s a lot here but never when we go out of town. We saw the one pictured above on a grate on a sidewalk on Front Street downtown.

ReplyDeleteIt is a strange thing. We just got back from a vacation in central Arkansas (neighboring state to our west) and saw nary a 42 anywhere on the trip.
DeleteI have to agree with you and daughter. I have never seen one in Wichita, either. It's amazing how something like this can appear as a local phenomenon, yet nowhere else. Keep finding them, dear friend. I love it when you run across them.
