The Daughter got
Funny Face (1957) recently as a birthday present, and we watched it that day. We found the 58-year-old Fred Astaire's love-making to 28-year-old Audrey Hepburn a bit hard to buy. He looks older in this than his years, and she looks younger. This isn't the best effort for either of them. My favorite is
Kay Thompson, better known as the author of the
Eloise books.

I have never seen Funny Face. Love Audrey Hepburn. I much prefer movie trailers of yesteryear The ones of today make me dizzy. I'm old fashioned I suppose.
ReplyDeletei agree about the movie trailers. in trailers these days i'm sometimes left wondering what the heck the movie is about! lol
DeleteI finally got this to load. I wonder how many takes they needed before they put the dance together.
ReplyDeletethat clap yo' hands number was something else, wasn't it!
