Psycho

The Sons stayed up and watched Psycho tonight. The Younger Son had never seen it, but I'd seen it several times and decided to read instead. The film is directed by Alfred Hitchcock and stars Janet Leigh and Anthony Perkins.

Bright Lights Film Journal has an article. Moria says, "without any doubt Psycho is one of the greatest and certainly the most famous of all horror films." The New York Times calls it a "bloodcurdler". Variety talks about what makes it a "success". Images Journal closely examines one of the scenes. Roger Ebert has it on his list of "great movies".
