DeleteI am a Libertarian, so I will listen to her song. Libertarians have gotten a bad rap the past few years. True Libertarians are economically conservative and socially liberal. Who doesn't want to save money AND be kind to their neighbor?

I remembered the tune instantly from when I was younger but having listened to your version I found the lyrics are very different from the one I know which was released under a different song title by a British band 😀. I hope you had a lovely week, we've been busy with a burst water pipe due to freezing temperatures here, luckily it was in one of our outside buildings and it is all sorted now but it wasn't much fun without the heating until it was fixed - brrrr!...lol 😉. I don't think I know any Libertarians & wouldn't it be nice in today's political unrest to have an open discussion & not a shouting match ... I listened to the video - seems songs had a bit of a story then. =^..^=
ReplyDeleteI think if people quit thinking it was only worth talking to people with opposing views if you could convince them they were wrong and instead had a goal of understanding and being understood things would go better. I can't count the number of times people shut the door on discussion by saying, "Neither of us will ever convince the other." Well, of course not. That was never my goal.
