ReplyDeleteCthulhu has made it into the modern world in both politics and religion memes. I love that it's living on. But then, most people who don't know Lovecraft still don't. Definitely not mainstream.

ReplyDeleteThe movie is definitely obscure. The books can be hard to read if you're not used to that period writing style, but creepy. Definitely creepy.
