It Conquered the World

It Conquered the World is a 1956 Roger Corman science fiction film starring Peter Graves and Lee van Cleef.

Better yet, on 11/9/2009 I've found it in one piece at bliptv compliments of The Cinemated Man:

1000 Misspent Hours seems to think it a bit slow:
Another title that should perhaps have been considered is Roger Corman Presents: How to Make 71 Minutes Seem Like Three Days.

Moria says it's "an essential item in the Roger Corman cult" and "a rather entertaining cheapie". Suite 101 has an overview and some trivia.

It was remade for tv in 1966 with Larry Buchanan as director and with John Agar (Tarantula, The Mole People, Journey to the Seventh Planet, Brain from Planet Arous) in the Peter Graves role. The remake, called Zontar, the Thing from Venus, is also available online. Watch it at the Internet Archive. It's quite close scene for scene to the original.

StompTokyo reviews them both.
