It's not scary except as you think of how women were treated back in the day. And then I consider how we are treated now :(

It's a powerful tale. I'd start with the story. It's a quick read.

I read the story in college. I think I might pass on a movie about it, but it does make you think about how they thought of women. Under the current circumstances I maybe don't want to revisit that past. lol! ;)
So controlling, and it's scary the way our laws are taking us back to those days :(
