The Mysterious Explorations of Jasper Morello is an award-winning 2005 Australian animated short film about a world where dirigibles are the main transportation. There's a flesh-eating plague responsible for increasing numbers of death. Our hero is a conflicted navigator who left his wife at home caring for plague victims when he is assigned to another exploratory voyage to look for a cure.
HorrorNews.net says, "From the first sepia-toned images of a smokey cityscape through which industrial-chic ironclads glide, you know you’re seeing something special."
Rotten Tomatoes has an audience rating of 89%.
...I found the Rube Goldberg inspirited transportation to be interesting!

DeleteSounds rather ghastly, I think I might enjoy watching it! Valerie
ReplyDeleteIt'd be a ghastly situation, that's certain, but I enjoyed watching it :)
DeleteI also enjoyed it. It's not like it's a feature film. I've spent far worse 28 minutes (grin).
