The Chatham School Affair, by
Thomas H. Cook, is an
Edgar Award-winning mystery novel. It is a more literary book than some other mysteries I've read. It gives you the story as a series of remembrances, weaving the tale from painful long-past memories until the picture is crystal clear. By the time the end was getting near I saw where it was going, but I couldn't put this book down.
