I read that Technicolor was invented in 1916, much earlier than I had thought. I'm sometimes in the mood for a western. I have read that is how old movies made the transition from B & W to color and this was the overlap period. Today if a film is shot in B & W, it's unique, but back then, color seemed to be the anomaly.
