I like the Bat best when he is blue and a bit crazy, I guess. The Batman and Green Hornet tv shows started in the 60s when the Western was beginning to fade. They seem to be going the way of the Western, in that we've moved from undeniable hero figures to exploring their darker sides. I like some of the superhero movies. I like Batman better than Superman, for example, just as he's been portrayed on screen. I have read articles on why this is, some think it´s "America´s" way of dealing with 9/11, but I don´t know that I am convinced. Maybe it´s something about wanting easy solutions to complex problems, and that´s about so much more than terrorism - although, come to think of it, that´s another easy solution to complex problems. Of course it never works. I used to love superheros as a child, in the comics, but the movies leave me cold. Too old, perhaps...;-) Viktoria Berghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00608160759512904861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28337090.post-58720688936472836862016-04-07T05:32:42.591-07:002016-04-07T05:32:42.591-07:00My husband and son tend to keep me up on all the s...My husband and son tend to keep me up on all the superhero movies, or I'd never have heard of it either.
