The Waitress

The Waitress:

by Isaac Soyer, a Russian-born American WPA artist, who focused on the New York working class in his work. He died on July 8, 1981.

  1. What a beautiful pencil drawing, I love how he has used the pencil strokes to add texture and depth to this piece 😀. Wishing you a very Happy T Tuesday! J 😊

  2. This is an absolute beauty. Do you need me to add your link? I would hate for anyone to miss this beauty. And of course, I absolutely love how you think outside the box on these T entries. Thanks for sharing the waitress with us for T this Tuesday.

    1. I posted a T post in case anyone happened by, but I took the 4th off from visiting the links. Thx for the offer though :)

  3. I do remember when waitresses at some places were uniforms similar to the one in this cool piece of art. Makes me think how times have changed and now the uniforms are usually jeans and t shirts. Great view of the times gone by.
