The Housemaid is a 1960 drama edging into horror about the ruin of a family after a predatory woman enters the household to help out when the wife becomes pregnant with their 3rd child.

I've gotten into a few Korean films that dealt with realism, but this one sounds like it borders the bizarre. Thanks for the review.
ReplyDeleteObsession is always a bit bizarre I guess. Tragic family tales border between melodrama and horror at some points, I think.
