Many of these shows I've not seen, but heard about from others who have seen them. It seems there are more "chick flicks" on these lists than shows I would be interested in.

I agree, the chick flick is not a genre I seek out. And back-to-school or back-to-college films are ones I'll pass on at this point, too. I went to the local DVD/record shop looking for "Autumn", "Autumn in New York", "Autumn Sonata" and "Autumn Afternoon" thinking I'd be able to find something that had Autumn in the title lol, but they didn't have them. I came away with almost $100 of other things, though. That's what I need, right? More DVDs in my to-be-watched stack lol
DeleteIt looks like a lot of movies but there is a lot of repetition from list to list. I enjoyed several Rudy, Goodwill Hunting, Dead Poets Society,Juno, Penelope,Scream. The lists are fun but if you haven't heard the title before they don't mean a whole lot.

DeleteI've seen quite a few of these. Makes me wonder how the coming of age films have held up over time. Autumn Sonata was Ingrid Berman's last film. I have to be in the right mood to watch a heavy Ingmar Bergman film, but I remember excellent acting. In the first list I had seen 8 out of 11...Paste Magaziine 11 out of 15...and so it goes--LOL! I've been housebound with Netflix for a decade--what can I say--LOL!
