Heritage Tavern

Heritage Tavern is located in a strip mall on one of the busiest streets in Memphis. Somehow we hadn't even realized it was there until I found it on a list of recommendations of best hamburgers. It's a fun place to sit:

We had the burger and can't say enough good about it.

It was cooked perfectly, and the waitress couldn't have been nicer. They have a Friday night chicken special that we need to go to. You can see their menu here, and there's plenty there to come back for.

Please join the Tea Tuesday gathering over at Bluebeard and Elizabeth's blog. Share a drink with us.

  1. Wow, even for a vegetarian, these burgers look good. Are those home style potato chips? They look like they were made at the restaurant, along with the burger. Nice ambiance, too.

Thanks for sharing the Heritage Tavern and your tea and hamburger with us for T this Tuesday.

  12. Looks like a fun place for a meal. I only eat about 2 burgers a year so they had better be darned good ones. I'd try your recommendation if I lived nearby.

  14. I'm running late this week for Tea Day, but I am glad you found a good burger place. Especially when you can get burger the way you want it. The search for a good burger is always interesting because so many places sell them, but so few are really good. :) Happy very belated T day. Hugs-Erika

  15. Wow! I don't eat beef but this looks good - the potato chips(crisps in UK) look yummy too!
Have had a look at the menu - so many interesting things to learn here about traditional US food!
We went to Moose Coffee for lunch the other day in Manchester, which is supposed to be American food although they have funny names - mine was delicious and the apple pancakes that my son had were in a huge stack, from the mouthful I had were delicious! Sorry to arrive so late for T, Chrisx
