Tea for Two

Tea for Two:

a 1950 cover of a 1925 song. This version is from a film by the same name and is sung by Doris Day, who celebrated her 92nd birthday this past Sunday. Or maybe her 94th? It seems no one is quite sure what year she was born.

  4. I am SO sorry I'm so late, but I'm having horrible computer problems (AGAIN). Like Johanna, I wasn't born when she sang that song, but I really enjoyed how you come up with so many wonderful drink related songs, movies, and paintings. You are incredible!

Thanks for sharing this with us for T this Tuesday.

  7. I read about her the other day and was quite frankly surprised, I thought she was long gone. She was so cute and gifted, but blue eyeshadow and orange lipstick... they didn´t care for the "natural" look in those days, did they? Nor did we in the 80´s, as I recall. ;-) Happy T-Day, though I passed on participating this week. Maybe next week!

    1. I remember white lipstick in the 60s lol and bright blue eyeshadow, Now that I'm older I wear lighter more natural lipsticks, and I haven't worn eyeshadow in decades. Times, they do change ;)
