  1. Well, I'd probably get a zero rating, since I've only seen 3: Wizard of Oz, Princess Bride, and Monty Python. Guess I'm not much into fantasy (grin).

  2. I've seen about 20, of the ones you haven't seen I would recommend Enchanted and Bridge to Terabithia. Enchanted is a fun half animated fairy tale and Bridge is a bit of a tearjerker.

    1. i'll keep those in mind and look for them at the video store. i admit to disney no longer being a draw for me, though.

  3. Saw only a few of these; just the Disney ones and Wizard. Not much into fantasy films. Some of these I've never heard of.

    1. some of these (like spirited away, kiki's delivery service, and princess mononoke) are japanese anime. some (like pan's labyrinth and coraline) are quite dark. films like hellboy and jason & the argonauts have a large adventure element. some re-tell ancient myths or fairy tales either for adults or for children.

there's a huge variety here, and "fantasy" seems to cover a lot of territory.
